A Conversation With...

“I’d really like to talk to Beckzi. I think he might be a little too artsy to handle, but I’d really like to meet him. I would probably just freak out and be like, “Your art is so amazing, how do you come up with that?” And he’d probably be like, “Why are you worshipping me?””

My Story

“Once this really weird thing happened to me. Once I was driving— I always thought that if you had a car— or access to a car— you should like do as much as you can to help out people who don’t have a car— because I remember not having a car and not having rides to places and missing out on things, so  I’d always drive pretty far to pick  people up for things. So, I was driving this girl home— she played lacrosse with me, but I like barely knew her because she’d only just moved to our high school— and we were just driving home and we just started talking. I asked her a few questions about her life and she ended up saying she was moving and I was asking her how she thought she was going to cope with the moving and she said that she’d moved around all her life and stuff.  And eventually we got to our relationship with our parents and families as a whole and we both broke down crying on the car trip home. And it was like a thirty minute car ride, but it was one of the deepest conversations I’ve had in my life and I had no prior connection to this girl.”
